Join Generation Obama as we gather on Capitol Hill to celebrate the holidays AND the historic progress of Speaker Pelosi’s 111th Congress and thank those - especially in the House - who worked so hard for change even if they weren't rewarded in November for billions in TAX CUTS while saving the banks, saving the auto industry and saving the states PLUS Wall Street, Credit Card, Student Loan, Equal Pay and Health Care Reform! Not to mention Climate Change and hundreds of other bills that never passed the Senate…
We look forward to thanking many of these staffers in person during this very special occasion. We also will be collecting donations for our new venture Network For Progress and for the kids at National Children's Medical Center.
Speakers include Freshman Congressman Steve Driehaus (pending House schedule) who fought for his principles in his one-term in Washington despite the conventional wisdom, Rod Snyder who is working to get young people back involved as President of Young Democrats of America as well as Emily Lamia of Democratic GAIN whose available to a new influx of young progressives get new jobs in the New Year.
Happy Holidays!
